You do not need to be a professional analyst, but you should want to understand your holdings rather than just trade them.

Is Lemma Analysis a broker? Can I trade through it?

No. Lemma Analysis is a research tool, not a broker. It executes no trades and can move no money — a supported broker can be connected, but only with a read-only key you issue and can revoke, and only so your transactions arrive on their own. You do your analysis here, then place trades yourself in whatever brokerage you already use.

Does Lemma Analysis give investment advice?

No. Nothing in the product is personalised investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. It gives you data, models and tools; the decisions — and the responsibility for them — remain entirely yours. Always do your own due diligence.

Lemma Analysis has a single paid plan, Ultimate, at $8.99/mo (or $79.99/yr). Billed yearly it works out to $6.67 a month — 26% less than paying monthly. One plan unlocks everything — there are no add-ons or hidden tiers.

Is there a free plan or free trial?

You can create an account and start for free, with no credit card required, to get a feel for the terminal. When you are ready for the full research toolkit, you upgrade to the Ultimate plan.

What is the difference between monthly and yearly billing?

Both give you the exact same product. Monthly is $8.99 charged each month; yearly is $79.99 charged once a year, which works out to $6.67 a month — you save $27.89 a year, about 26%. You can start monthly and switch to yearly whenever you like.

How are payments handled — do you store my card?

Accepted Answer

No. Subscriptions are processed by LemonSqueezy, our payment provider and merchant of record. Your card details are entered on their PCI-compliant checkout and never reach or get stored on our servers. We only ever see your plan and its status.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not billed again.

Will my price change after I subscribe?

We will not quietly raise the price of an active subscription. If pricing ever changes, existing subscribers are told in advance and given a fair choice, not surprised on their next statement.

Is my data safe with Lemma Analysis?

Your data is encrypted in transit with TLS, your session lives in an HTTP-only cookie that page scripts cannot read, and your password is stored only as a salted one-way hash. Just as importantly, we deliberately store very little.

Do you connect to my brokerage or bank account?

Accepted Answer

To a bank, never. To a broker, only if you ask. You can enter holdings by hand, import a file you exported, or connect a supported broker with a read-only key you issue at the broker and can revoke there at any time. We never receive your brokerage login, the key is stored encrypted and never shown again, and disconnecting deletes it — nothing here can place an order or move your money.

Do you sell my data?

Never — not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. Our revenue is subscriptions alone, so there is no incentive to monetise you. Product analytics are cookieless and aggregate, and there are no third-party advertising trackers following you around the web.

Yes. The service is operated from the Czech Republic and therefore falls under the EU’s GDPR. You have the right to access, export, correct and delete your personal data. Our Privacy Policy documents exactly what we collect and why.

Lemma Analysis is operated by Vadym Andrijovyč Pantěljejenko (IČO 23514591), registered in the Czech Republic. That places the service, and your data, squarely under EU data-protection law.

What browsers and devices are supported?

Lemma Analysis runs in any modern browser — recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. It is a web app, so there is nothing to install and no updates to manage; you always get the latest version when you load the page.

Is there a mobile app?

There is no native mobile app today. The terminal is dense and works best on a larger screen, though the site remains usable on a phone or tablet for quick checks. A dedicated mobile experience is something we may add later.

Where does your market and financial data come from?

We aggregate market prices and company fundamentals from established third-party data providers, with up to 40 years of financial history behind the tools. Exactly how the data feeds our models, and the limits of that data, are laid out on our Methodology page.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Because the service falls under GDPR, you have the right to export the personal data tied to your account. If you need an export, contact support and we will help you get it.

Why do I need to sign in to use the tools?

Your portfolios, watchlists, saved screens and journal notes are tied to your account so they are there whenever you come back, on any device. Signing in also lets us keep that data private to you and secured behind an HTTP-only session.

How do I create an account?

Click “Start free”, enter your email and a password, and confirm your address from the verification email we send. That is all it takes to get into the terminal — no credit card needed.

Do I need a finance background to use it?

No. If you understand the basics of buying shares, you can get value from day one, and the built-in glossary explains every term the tools use.

How do I add my first holding and build a portfolio?

Open the portfolio section, add a holding by its ticker, and enter the shares and cost basis. As you add positions, portfolio analytics start to populate. Step-by-step guidance lives in the Help centre.

Create a watchlist, then add tickers you want to keep an eye on. You can set a margin-of-safety target so the list flags when a name trades below the price you would be happy to pay.

The DCF calculator estimates a company’s intrinsic value by projecting its future free cash flows and discounting them back to today. It starts from sensible defaults you can override, and a reverse-DCF mode tells you what growth the current price already implies.

I forgot my password — how do I reset it?

Accepted Answer

On the login screen, choose “Forgot password” and enter your email. We will send you a reset link; open it and set a new password. The link is single-use and expires, so request a fresh one if it has been a while.

First check your spam or promotions folder, and confirm you used the right address. If it still has not arrived after a few minutes, request the email again — and if it keeps failing, contact support and we will sort it out.

A price or data point looks wrong.

Market data can lag or occasionally carry provider errors, and our models rely on that data — see the limits we spell out on the Methodology page. If a figure looks clearly off, tell us the ticker and the field and we will investigate.

The app will not load or something looks broken.

Try a hard refresh, and make sure your browser is up to date. If a problem persists, note what you were doing when it happened and send it to support — details like the page and the ticker help us reproduce and fix it quickly.

How do I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

Open your account Settings and, on the Profile tab, scroll to the “Plan, privacy & danger” card at the bottom. Under the red Danger zone, click Delete account and confirm. Access closes immediately and your subscription is cancelled — it does not come back on its own. Your data is kept for 30 days: signing in with the same email within that window restores the account, and after that it is erased permanently — under GDPR that is your right. If you cannot find the option or want us to confirm the deletion, contact support.
